Foshan Delegation Trip

Beyond looking around the world, Hong Kong innovators need to be aware of the rapid change in innovation and technology in the Greater Bay Area(GBA). In recent years, Foshan has made several advancements in cutting-edge technologies such as AI, intelligent equipment, new energy vehicles, and hydrogen energy, making itself an innovation centre in GBA. 

Since 2021, Foshan has been named a "National Innovation City". Embracing the forward-looking concept of "Hong Kong research, Foshan manufacturing," the Foshan government highlighted the vast potential for collaboration between two cities. Hong Kong Innovation & Invention will host a delegation trip to Foshan from 22 to 24 May for the technology sector in Hong Kong to exchange experiences and explore business opportunities with counterparts in the GBA. 

Highlights of the trip:

1. Foshan Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City - Nanhai Districts (Sanlongwan Wan Nanhai Area )
2. Ji Hua Laboratory
3. FoShan (Southern China) Institute for New Materials
4. Foshan Xianhu Laboratory
